Google Picasa is a great tool to use to help manage your online photo albums. The major advantage of using Picasa is that they provide installable software that handles uploading your images to the google servers, and then provide RSS feeds that you can use to publish your images to different locations on the web... (your dropzone, myspace, facebook, etc..)...

New Pricing Released at DZO Conference 2011
By RealSkydiving @ 2:14 PM :: 348 Views ::

|
During our presentation at the DZO Conference luncheon we release a new pricing structure of only 0.35% the price of a student ticket. This means that if you are selling Tandem Skydives for $200, that you will incur only a $0.70 charge per student jump.
Additionally, we no longer charge a fee for experienced jumpers. The previous charge of $0.05 has been completely waived for both new and existing customers.
Also, while we don’t have any direct competition (no company offers such a full featured product), we can now deploy our product with certain functionality disabled. This allows us to BEAT any price or product offering from our competition.

Accepting Credit Cards with RealDropzone
By RealSkydiving @ 9:56 PM :: 343 Views ::

|
RealDropzone has the ability to seamlessly accept Credit Cards on both your website and at your office. On your website, Credit Cards are entered directly into your website (Card Not Present). In the office they can either be typed in (Card Not Present), or swiped using a Credit Card Reader attached to your computer (Card Present).
Unlike other solutions that take hidden fees by forcing you to use their credit card processor, RealSkydiving does not make any of our income through these fees. In fact, the software product is specifically designed to minimize the financial impact of accepting credit cards at your business by encouraging Card-Present or Cash transactions whenever possible.
Because RealDropzone does not have ties with any one specific Credit Card Processor, you are able to freely chose and find competitive pricing. In fact, we encourage you to re-evaluate your credit card processor on an annual basis to continue to assure you are getting the lowest rates possible.

Microsoft provides a useful tool that allows users of OS X to establish a remote desktop connection with a PC running Windows. Or, more accurately, two tools.

Remote Desktop Connection Client comes bundled with Office for Mac 2011, but it can also be downloaded for free from Microsoft's website. The tricky part is that at this point there are actually two different versions of Remote Desktop Connection Client and which one you want to use is dependent on the version of Windows being run by the sever you're trying to connect to...

2011 has brought many new features to RealDropzone, among them are enhanced data import capabilities that make it easier to migrate from your existing manifest software solution into RealDropzone. We’ve used data import tools to move two different dropzones from the legacy JumpRun product to RealDropzone which has saved those businesses many hours of data entry and balance transferring. It has also allowed them to maintain contact information for prior customers so that post office and electronic mailings are as consolidated and streamlined as possible. If your business is currently running JumpRun and you’re looking for alternatives, email us today to talk about the fundamental differences between our product and the software solution that is keeping you in the 90s.
